Red Hat changes business-model

Now Red Hat receives the basic part of profit on distribution and support of server operational system Linux. The company also develops a direction of virtualization and advances Linux in sphere of desktop computers, however while the income of these initiatives is rather low. At the same time, Red Hat it is compelled to compete to other large suppliers Linux, pressure from which constantly amplifies.
About two weeks ago Red Hat has appointed new vice-president of company of the head of division which employees should borrow in transformation business-model. It is supposed, that process of transformation will be carried out in some stages. Now experts analyze the scheme of management of the company, features of mutual relations with clients and partners, subscription model, a financial system and so forth
At following stage Red Hat will borrow in elimination of the revealed weak places and increase of an overall performance of service of interaction with buyers. Besides Red Hat expects to increase profit on distribution of software JBoss. This company Red Hat, we shall remind, has got in the past to year for 420 million US dollars.
It is supposed that modification in business-model will allow Red Hat to strengthen position in the market. Besides the company expects to double the size of annual proceeds. Now Red Hat receives the income at a rate of approximately 500 million US dollars a year.
